Brașov with kids: what to see and where to stay

With children, Brașov is pleasant to explore on foot from the old town: pedestrian streets, large squares and sights close to one another. Accommodation with a kitchen and space to relax in the inner courtyard gives your family plenty of options for meals and downtime.

What to do with kids in the centre

• Council Square: wide, traffic-free space, good for a stroll.
• Rope Street (Strada Sforii), one of the narrowest streets in Europe; children remember it easily.

Short trips

A few kilometres from the city are Poiana Brașov, Râșnov and Bran Castle. Each of these trips takes around half a day. Opening hours and tickets change, so check them before you go.
